How to Play 2048 Dogs

2048 Dogs is a simple merge puzzle. Move all tiles in one direction, combine matching values, and keep building higher dog tiles until you reach 2048.

Basic controls

• Mobile: swipe up, down, left, or right on the board.
• Desktop: use the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. You can also drag across the board with a mouse or pen.
• Every move slides all tiles as far as they can go.
• After a valid move, a new 2 or 4 tile appears.

How tiles merge

Two matching tiles combine into the next value. For example, 2 + 2 becomes 4, 4 + 4 becomes 8, and the pattern continues until you reach 2048 and beyond.

Game goal

Your main goal is to create the 2048 dog tile. You can keep playing after reaching 2048 if moves are still available, so try to beat your best score.

Simple strategy tips

• Keep your highest tile near one corner whenever possible.
• Avoid moving randomly; plan where your next merge will happen.
• Keep one row or column organized so large tiles can grow safely.
• Use the New Game button only when you want to reset the board.
